Treatments at Smoothline

Smoothline is the only clinic in Switzerland that specialises exclusively in filler and botulinum treatments and was founded in 2007. For wrinkles on the face, a differentiation is made between wrinkles caused by facial expressions (expression lines) and wrinkles caused by the ageing of the skin due to loss of moisture, elasticity and volume.

Expression lines are wrinkles that are caused by activity of the facial muscles. Expression lines include forehead lines, frown lines between the eyebrows and crow's feet ("laughter lines") at the side of the eyes. These wrinkles are treated with botulinum toxin.

Fillers are particularly suitable for injecting deep wrinkles (e.g. nasolabial folds) as well as for treating small, already fixed wrinkles (e.g. cheek wrinkles, lip wrinkles). However, they are also used to build up volume and for shaping (lip contouring, nose straightening, building up sunken cheeks or sunken circles under the eyes, straightening the lower jawline in the case of sunken jowls).
